CircuitCalcs has no sign-up, no login, no contact form and no mailing list. We never ask you for your name, your email address or any other personal detail, and there is nowhere on this site to give us one.
The calculators run on our server, not in your browser. When you change an input, the values you entered — conduit size, conductor counts, amps, distances and so on — are sent to our server, the result is calculated, and the result is sent back to you.
Those values are used to answer your request. The application does not save calculator inputs to a database or to a file.
Like essentially every website, the web server in front of the application keeps routine request logs. A log entry records the date and time, the address requested, the IP address the request came from, and the browser user-agent string. Your IP address is also used to apply a rate limit, which stops a single source from overwhelming the calculators for everyone else.
We do not use these logs to build a profile of you, and we hold no account or contact record to connect them to.
The site runs on hosting infrastructure operated by a third-party provider. That provider necessarily processes the traffic reaching the site, including the request metadata described above, in the course of running the servers and the network. We do not sell your information and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
This is a professional reference tool. It is not directed at children, and it has no facility for anyone of any age to submit personal information.
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
